Diception teaches you a bunch of games with dice. The rules are always followed by some story about the game's origin and a gambling variant.

The book presents quite a lot of dice games, shows a mechanism how to replace cards by dice and has clear symbolism so that the players can see what dice to use or what group is appropriate for the game with small cute art where unsurprisingly dice play a crucial role. However, I was disappointed by this book. Although I supported it on Kickstarter and followed its evolution, I found the result has let my expectations down. I did find some interesting game mechanics or ways how to use dice. However, many rules seemed to me to be just sketches of rules, and I would prefer to see examples or clear explanations instead of unrevealing lore. It was fun sometimes, but the main benefit I saw in the book - interesting tiny dice games - was delivered poorly if we look just on the rules.
