I loved this book. It was wonderful to read about all the different love stories including romantic and familial love ❤️ while also getting to read about the difficulties surrounding love during war times!

I fell for all the characters but especially Georgia! She overcome the loss of her grandmother (who was basically a mother to her), she divorced a husband who treated her awful, she dealt with her mom sucking, and still managed to open up and find love ❤️

There was also some twists within the book that I did not expect but I also really enjoyed! The ending of the book had tears in my eyes while I also had a huge smile on my face. I really enjoyed it.

The only negative was it can be difficult to keep up with the constant time jumps throughout but it was easy to get back on track!

I really enjoyed both plots in the book, and the plot twist was very unexpected. I sobbed. I rooted for all the characters, which is also rare since usually someone is quite annoying. It was very unique and interestingly written.

2 stars ⭐️ i did finish this book rather quick but i really didn’t care for it, only the ending plot twist had me like gasp but yeah i don’t think i’m a big military historical romance person and the love i get was raw and stuff but it all happened quick for my liking
