I couldn't remember if the last one got boring/confusing enough for me to give up. But this one was action-packed from the get-go. Had I not read the back though I would have had no clue what was going on. Which has largely been my complaint up to this point. But the heart-breaking back stories and ending of this one redeemed all past missteps.

MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IS DEAD NOBODY TALK TO ME. I love the true confirmation that Maria really is dead especially combined with all the death in this one overall, I was expecting some sort of twist.
Wonderful paneling and use of color as always, the paneling seems a bit more tame than in the earlier volumes, but I think it also works well for how frentic this energy is throughout. Can't wait for the next one!

Welcome to Deadly Class vol. 4, where all your favorite characters die!

I really wonder how the story will continue with about five characters, and who on earth would read the chronicles of Shabnam for the rest of the series?!

I will start vol. 5 for the sake of my own curiosity, but I'll read it with angry attitude for what just happened here.

This was just pure tragedy. Extremely painful. Loosing two favourite characters -Willie and Billy- and changing the status quo. It was pure chaos, brutal and emotional, you couldn't grasp who was aligned with whom, it wrecked me. Wish me for a speedy recovery, highly unlikely though with volume 5 in my hands.
