I’ve read all the books so far in this series and this one certainly changes the pace previously set by the other three books. I think the lesser personal risk/reward compared to the prior three books, on top of workplace romance not really being my thing, is what made this book not not hit as well for me as the others had. Though, I am still excited to read the next book in the series after the bomb that dropped in the second to last chapter!!
