Really sweet story of hate turning to love. I loved that Shay's grandmother could sense Landon's demons and even after she was no longer employed there, she'd show up every week to cook him dinner. "How's your heart?" Loved it. And Shay apparently got at least some of her grandmother's empathy, because once the bet was made, once they spent time together, Shay also realized Landon had monsters and tried to slay them for him, but that's not how depression works. So I can't remember where this one ended and the next one picked up, so I'll pick up the rest in the next book's review.

Okay wow. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions. I was crying, and smiling at the same time
