Okay maybe 2.25 stars is harsh but I'm just bored of romances where the third act conflict is they both think they're not worthy of the other person and completely unlovable and just spend the next 30 pages moping before they accidentally run into each other and discover they've been in love this whole time.

Being autistic doesn't define you or make you less of a person.

From the start until the end I always side with Stella. I love her for being honest and straight forward and she's funny on her own way. She's so fucking smart and based on the description she's pretty. She's perfect. She's a ten.

And there goes Michael. An escort. Its admirable when someone are willing to give up everything just for his family. Imagine he's willing to go such length and discontinue his dreams for his mother.

Michael treated Stella the way she deserves. Unlike those three asshole plus Philip who treats her like shit. I know what Michael did is bare minimum but stillšŸ˜¤ they deserve each other. And also Michael's mom is right. "You deserve someone better" is overrated. If you want to be with someone make/prove yourself that you're 'the better'. Work for it.

Though, the ending felt rushed and lack of somethingšŸ˜£

Overall I liked the book, it's pretty much Pretty Woman with the genders reversed and autism rep. If you're not a romance person, I could see it getting frustrating with both of them being insecure and like they're not good enough for the other person when the other person is clearly in love with them, but it works out in favor of the characters, and especially with the message that Stella never needed to try and change herself to get a guy to like her, and if she did, he wouldn't be worth it.

This book was a lovely fluffy romance that I did really enjoy! I loved both the main characters and their relationship. That being said, the last quarter or so kind of annoyed me, but it came together in the end.
the last bit of the book with the complete miscommunication being the basis for the plot was so frustrating! I just wanted them both to realise they actually liked each other but they were both soooo oblivious omg. I do think the ending was cute when they got back together but it was a bit of a maddening journey for a while there

Cute, quick and light . I needed something to get me out of my current reading rut and this did the trick. Overall I liked the the plot and ā€œfake datingā€ is my favourite romance trope although I donā€™t read much contemporary romance. The main drawback for me was the ending. I felt like it was a little slapped together and the epilogue was pointless. I will definitely be checking out the other books in the series.
