A funny book where you never know what will happen next. I enjoyed the narrative style a lot; it reminded me of Terry Pratchett in some ways, which was nice. Allan’s character is completely unique in a very endearing way, even if his moral choices are slightly dubious. The way the current timeline is interwoven with Allan’s past is very clever and culminates in a very satisfying ending. The only thing stopping it from being 5 stars is some of the historical and political context is a little too dense at times and is a bit at odds with the absurdity of the novel. Would definitely recommend!

LOVED IT! I love any sort of mythology retellings, ESPECIALLY greek ones. This is also my first book by Jennifer Saint.

The star was lost because of the ending. It was a bit random but okay
