I liked it but i listened to it as an audio book which I don’t think I recommend. The story was hard to follow and I had to really actively use my brain while listening. It wasn’t hugely engaging. I really enjoyed the main characters. Also 0 romance which I usually like at least a little.

Holy Hell.
What an incredible book.
It’s witty, it’s dark, it’s bloody and I’m absolutely in love.
It was made even better with Moira Quirk lending voice to this dynamic story.
I will treasure this first read forever.

Necromantic battles are just as awesome as they sound. Thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the mysterious plot.

Genuinely can't stress this more: go into this blind, and expect your experience of the book to be unique to what you might've heard online. It's really hard to describe what this story is actually about, so it's best to experience it firsthand and draw your own conclusions :)

I HATED Harrowhark when I started, and I am so glad she managed to change my mind.
The worldbuilding was heavy and at times confusing, but the dialogue was engaging and refined and the fight scenes were cinematic.
