(no spoilers) If you're worried about the CWs, it may be a good idea to google details to gauge your own comfort level. IMO, even if you know spoilers, it's still enjoyable and definitely worth reading. That being said, I usually don't mind spoilers in general as I'd rather be prepared before engaging with potentially triggering media. I know other people find that spoilers ruin the experience, so to each their own. On a similar note, this is a great choice if you enjoy books that you can read multiple times. Knowing what happens does not at all take away from future re-reads. I've read it twice, and the second was just as enjoyable, if not more. WOW. Tak tohle je dost možná jeden z nejžhavějších kandidátů na nejlepší knihu, přečtenou v roce 2021. Napínavé, akční, vtipné, creepy a strašně originální - takový debut jste ještě nečetli. Opět skvělý příklad, jak bezmezné jsou hranice fantasy, když se někomu podaří odpoutat od tisíckrát omílaných trop. Mi-lu-ju a doufám, že Host nebude otálet s překladem dalšího dílu, protože jsem napjatá jak kšandy.

I couldn’t get myself to finish it- it was one of those books that was long just to be long. It had all the right pieces but was just not executed in an enjoyable way. I just couldn’t get myself to care about the characters or the story. Just too much going on :(
