Fast paced story. Good set of characters. A consistent set of fantasy races redefining Tolkien's names (not a criticism).

Each chapter changed POV (point of view) several times but there was little visual indication (in the Kindle version of the book). Perhaps a visual divider between each sub-section would help.

OK...I feel like the Butlers are right out of the Hitman Series...right off the bat! Was excited for the bad guy experience, but being as this is a Disney movie now, obviously it missed the mark for me! Wish I would have read this when I was younger...

This book was inventive, captivating, and fun to read. However, I had a hard time with the fact that Artemis is only 12. For me personally, I think it would have taken me out of the story less if he were a teenager but the fact that he's 12 made stop and think, "Really?". Nothing that ruined the story, or the experience, but just a personal hang up of mine.

Not my favorite book in the series but still enjoyed it greatly. Overall - I love the Artemis Fowl series...such fun.
