Brings a bunch of Mage material in one place and tries to get one of the game line's most distinctive voices (Phil Brucato) to make sense of it all. This makes sense as an approach for a 20th Anniversary edition, but taken all together it's hard to avoid the impression that Mage: the Ascension has dated incredibly badly and that you might as well just play Awakening instead.
