Another FBI/Secret Service crime novel. Another quick read.

I was skeptical but decided to give it a shot. Reading this during a campaign season definitely added heightened interest. Not perfect but kept my attention as a page turner.

I was a couple of chapters in to this book when I realized it was used as a basis for a tv show that I really liked a few years ago. The show didn't survive, but I think this book series is going to be seriously awesome.

I enjoyed the book and meeting the characters. I want to read the next in the series. That said, the resolution to the mystery was one of the most convoluted and unrealistic scenarios I have encountered in a long time, and that's saying something! The plot is intricate and I got how it reached the conclusion it did, but far-fetched is being kind and diplomatic!

Pure page turner. Short chapters and change in viewpoints keeps you reading longer.

I really like Baldacci. I like a fiction novel to be at least believable. So many twists and turns with a complicated plot. I guess I just couldn't get that much in to this one. Plus I think I read this one way out of order. This was his first King and Maxwell and it frustrates me that so much was developing characters when I have already read many of this series.

Fast-paced and a true page-turner. Best of Sean and Michelle books.
