It was bad. The writing was so juvenile and I couldn’t take it anymore

This book started off strong and I had high hopes. However, once the plot started, it quickly went downhill. The FMC was annoying and didn’t want to be on their quest the entire time, fell insta in love, and then a weird triangle that was just there most of the way through the book? The plot was an interesting premise, but was not developed all the way through.

I got this on stuff your kindle day, and will not be continuing the series.

It needs more world building and the ending felt rushed. It was okay. The romantic interests didn’t feel right and seemed forced. The main character comes off as juvenile.

I might come back to this later. I just don’t seem to be in the mood for this type of story.

Too fast paced, i didnt feel we got to know the characters at all before the book ended. The author definitely had a plot planned out however i dont feel the book was properly fleshed out and it didnt have enough world building. The blurb said the magic shop and the sisters were heavily important to the story however i felt they werent as left the book after the first 15%. I liked the romance between lily and bernett however once again felt rushed. It the book had a bit more fleshig out i would of definayedly given it a higher rating. Overall it was a nice quick read.

Recommend for people who like: witches, fantasy, magic, enemies and romance

The premise of the story was great and had so much potential, but the execution failed. This felt like the first draft of the story.

Pros:
* Interesting concept
* So much potential (that wasn't reached)

What could have been improved:
* There needed to be so much more world building.
* The characters needed to be fleshed out more. They didn't really have much personality yet. The author could have spent more time developing them to help us get more attached to them.
* Another round of editing and fleshing out the story would have done wonders.
*The plot was rushed too much.
