Interesting premise, but at 21 pages, just too, too short to build anything.

so, this kinda doesn't count as a book because it's short as hell, but I read it so I'm adding it.
Honestly, nothing about this is special. There are so many characters that are named but don't really do anything that it's easy to get confused. The "twist" is super predictable once the telling of the scenario begins and honestly the reasoning behind the twist makes like 0 sense. There were some parts of the scenario I liked but not many, and this whole just didn't seem like it had any realism (even though we're in the middle of a global pandemic), or that it really needed to be published.

This felt more like a prologue to a novel rather than a novella on its own.

An enjoyable listen. My only critique is I wish it was longer, because I want to know what happens next!

A little horror short story that I had a lot of fun with.

I rarely enjoy short stories but this is a fun one. Bleak, emotional and to the point. It didn’t drag one bit.
