Short story from Mira Grant ~ a bunch of friends are playing a game (Apocalypse) that they have been playing every week for 15 years ~ one of the friends doens't show but sends a tape recorded message ~ is she playing the game? Or has the game become real life?

A very enjoyable read.

A short and interesting concept that was just the right length. I continue to thoroughly enjoy Mira Grant's writing. Plus, if as a group of 20-somethings you can't imagine having parties where you have needlessly in-depth conversations about ridiculous things like this, then I don't know what to say.

This is a short story that is maybe more interesting as a backstory to the trilogy. On its own, it's not much.

Short story with a big personality.

I've got the first novel of the Newsflesh series to read and figured I would read from the beginning of the storyline to include the novellas. I was not disappointed! This first book was a few pages long and had so much going on in a very accessible narrative.

Insanely short -- and bizarrely insane -- in a good way.

Really neat that the author read her own short story. The story itself felt incomplete to me. I also don't think it should be tied in with Newsflesh series, as it didn't seem to relate. The concept was interesting though and it seemed intriguing. Just felt like the prologue to a full book, not a standalone short story.

A very short short story ~ about 20 minutes long, but interesting enough that I'll check out [b:Feed|7094569|Feed (Newsflesh Trilogy, #1)|Mira Grant|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1408500437l/7094569._SY75_.jpg|7351419].
