Even though I’m only 26, I wish I had read this book 4 years ago when I was first out of college and getting ready to pursue my career and generally my life. I think this book is definitely more for a younger 20 crowd than an older 20 crowd but I still learned some good lessons about relationships and getting your life started now.

This book definitely makes you think. While I do have a good career, I'm definitely not as cat into friendship as I would like to be. It's something I want to work on in the future. I learned a lot about the state of 20 year olds today and how different we are from 20 year olds in previous generations. It can be confusing to try to kickstart your career while being told to have fun and relax, but doing both is possible. This book taught me more about the learned mindsets I have.

This book was absolutely STUNNING. and EYE OPENING.
I am 23 years old. I was scrolling insta one day, saw this book for like 30 seconds, then kept scrolling. Decided to go thrifting that same day- saw the book in goodwill and decided it was a sign to purchase it.
-
Fast forward- I’m reading it for a few days and absolutely thrown. It’s so eye opening and amazing. I tell MY therapist about it and I got HER to read it too. She said this will help her with her clients as well as her kids. I see her this upcoming Friday and we are going to discuss this book and where I fit into all of the chapters.
-
If you are in your 20s, know someone in their 20s, parent of a twentysomething, therapist who has a lot of twentysomethings- BUY AND READ THIS BOOK.
Your twenties are important !
