This book has earned a special place in my heart and I will probably think about Demon for a long time. Storytelling at its finest. Beautifully tragic all the way through, but making it to the end is well worth it.

Really good, an interesting perspective of Appalachia and while tragic, it kept me engaged and invested in how Demon would end his story.

Quite possibly my favorite fictional character of all time minus Harry Potter. What an absolutely incredible story filled with all the emotions. Demon and his story will stick with me for a long time to come!
