Quite possibly the worst book I've ever read. Manic pixie dream girl X 10000

As a rule, if I start reading a book, I finish it. This one, though, was so unbearable that I'm declaring it DNF. Life's too short to put yourself through this kind of torture.

Lyrical nonsense! I laughed out loud... so many times. “I’m uncomfortable with verbs; they expect too much.” Brilliant and silly.

This is a book about trauma and recovery. I don't know how this book is not trending or a bestseller because the author deserves it so much. This book is culturally, psychologically, and emotionally rich. It balances the quirky and whimsical façade with the dark undertones really well.

I adored of the writing in this book, there were some of my favorite lines that I have ever read, such as “I’m uncomfortable with verbs, they expect too much“ and “I woke on a damp pillow; my dreams must’ve leaked.“ A very different kind of book with a quite unusual main character.
