oké waauuwwwww!!!! Ik vind hem steeds leuker worden ;)

Another generous 3 stars. The writing was a little less cringy, but still way too many stupid metaphors. And Juliette was infuriatingly naive & whiny in this one. I’ll probably continue because im invested enough in the story, but we’ll see…

"On the darkest days you have to search for a spot of brightness, on the coldest days you have to seek out a spot of warmth; on the bleakest days you have to keep your eyes onward and upward and on the saddest days you have to leave them open to let them cry. To then let them dry. To give them a chance to wash out the pain in order to see fresh and clear once again."

Now, to the review, I wanna start by saying that Juliette is really damn annoying. Both her and Adam. The miscommunication is absolutely insane. "Oh, Juliette, come back to me." / "No, I'm gonna hurt you."
Yeah, we fucking get that. Now, can you shut the fuck up?

"So much of it was like seeing myself on paper", he whispers. "Like reading all the things I never knew how to say."
"Please. He says "Please don't shoot me for this." And he kisses me.

Warner is my true fuel in regards to keeping me reading this. This man is blonde AND has a Shakespeare tattoo: "Hell is empty. And all the devils are here."
Even Juliette agrees, c'mon: "Because Warner is beautiful in ways even Adam isn't."

To be honest, I'm glad I gave the Shatter Me series a second chance. Because, although half the book is miscommunication, the plot twists and the story itself kept me hooked. Deep down, I enjoyed it more than my mind wants to admit.

I enjoyed the book -- literary gold -- but was left feeling incomplete.

It's pretty fast-paced and the whole romance aspect is entertaining, but Juliette is really annoying and the writing is just poor--there isn't a nicer way to say this. I understand that this is YA, but this is written at a middle school level. The main character is 17--make that make sense. Juliette's characterization is bland as heck. When she's not whining, she's horny and when she's not horny, she's panicking. So frustrating. The only reason why I'm continuing this series is because of Warner, who actually has a personality.

If you're looking for a quick, casual series, I recommend this.
