Okay so—Tahereh’s writing style is honestly a lot. Like, the book starts off really slow and overly detailed and ngl I struggled a bit. But at the same time?? I kinda love it. There’s something about the way she describes things that makes me feel everything, and I’ve lowkey learned so much about how to build a scene just by reading her stuff. So yeah, it gets boring but it’s also beautiful. Mixed feelings.
Now to the characters—literally all the side characters stood out. No one felt like a prop, which I appreciate so much. Kenji is hands down my favorite (icon behavior, as always). Adam though??? Please just remove him from the storyline

Liked this book. The begining was a bit slow, but it compensated. I enjoyed this way more than Shatter Me. It felt more developing. And… you guys… KENJI? IM IN LOVE
anyway, i also read fracture me, wich added depth to the ending.
Definetly reading Ignite Me

This book is A LOT, I didn't like the beginning, but around the middle, OH MY GOD IT GOT SO MUCH BETTER
Graphic: Mental illness
Moderate: Police brutality
Minor: Suicidal thoughts

GOD THIS WAS SO GOOD. The new setting, the new characters, the angst. ALL OF IT.
Kenji is the goat, Aaron is the love of my life, and Adam is breaking my heart with his sadness. Juliette is a baddie who is slowly growing more confident in herself.
Aaron Warner is the loml and I'll die on that hill. I know he's a bit morally grey (my favorite) and he is very closed off at times but I absolutely ADORE him.
I'm excited to see what happens next!
I read this entire book in one day, I could not put it down.
100/10!
"Every single day I’m sorry. Sorry for believing the things I heard about you. And then for hurting you when I thought I was helping you. I can’t apologize for who I am. That part of me is already done; already ruined. I gave up on myself a long time ago. But I am sorry I didn’t understand you better. Everything I did, I did because I wanted to help you to be stronger."

Good book but I don’t really like her writing style. The stutter like „I-I“ and „s-speak“ made me cringe so hard.
