3.5 stars. So many things are happening. I’m ready for book 3!

aaron warner apologist since day one!!

Okay now finally Juliette becomes a badass bitch. Warner, I repeat, I LOVE YOUUUUUUU, chapter 62 was lit.
If someone ever asked me what Juliette’s life soundtrack is, I would say “breathin” by Ariana Grande.

3,5/5⭐️

“Hell is empty and all the devils are here”

This book was wild omg. We found out that Juliette was a lot stronger than anyone realised! Finding out why Adam could touch Juliette was crazy because I hadn’t seen anyone talk about it before so I was actually shocked with the reveal about it all. I did feel bad for them both when Juliette realised they wouldn’t be able to be with each other. Obviously I know she will end up with Warner and I do want her to but it was still sad for them!!  I was waiting to see why everyone hates Adam but I guess that’s in the next book! 🤔 It was sad to hear more about Adam and James’s childhood. I forgot to mention James in my last review but he’s so sweet ahhh and when he was speaking to Juliette in this book it was so lovely. 🥺
It was crazy when Warner started reading Juliette’s notebook to her and also how he had memorised part of it omg! Also how Warner’s tattoo says “IGNITE” and the next book is called ignite me…I don’t think I’m ready for that! I was shocked at Warner’s ability because I genuinely didn’t know anything about that and it also made a lot of sense.
Kenji was one of the best characters in this book! He was sooo funny in this and I was laughing a lot but also how he was so serious and giving lectures to Juliette which definitely helped her. It was cute but emotional to hear about how Castle first met Kenji and the first thing Kenji did and said to him omg that was the cutest!! 🥹 I definitely hope to hear more about that in the future books! I do feel myself becoming obsessed with this series! 🤭

I feel like her craziness from being locked up and number obsession went away too quickly. The description of what caused the apocalyptic situation seems like a juvenile imagining of our world problems. Both the MMCs are obsessed with her and hot so she’s got that going for her even though her life has been shit. Though one is so obsessed he wants to possess her at any cost which is obviously fucked okay. FMC and Warren have intense self hatred. Her writing style isn’t my favorite. Ya know they are emotionally damaged teenagers. I found the drama with Adam and FMC to be kind of childish but they are literally minors. I like her mental health shit and ocd. Idk I feel like her starting to like Warren was forced. Him being strengthened while touching her and Adam being weakened felt kind of simplistic? And convenient? Like forcing her and Warren together. Okay her self torturing and constant mental wallowing and adolescent angst is kind of annoying
