Even listening to this audio book at 1.5%, it was still a struggle to force myself to finish. Did anything even happen in this book?
The best part of this book was when kenji told Juliette to stop being such a whiny baby

I just can’t get over the wattpad of it all
And like I sort of want to know what happens dystopian plot wise but the purple prose and the elementary writing killllls me. Juliette’s internal monologue makes me wanna cry in a bad way. And I’m sorry but I know we’re trying to be enemies to lovers here but the pacing is STUPID. The men always just be falling in love with her in two seconds because she’s hot and has a tortured past. That is not how we do enemies to lovers. Can I see some BANTER for the love of god. Not sure if I can keep going through this series but they are at least quick reads.

This book had me on the edge of my seat, mouth open, gasping. Some parts I did NOT expect and some parts I did.
I really enjoyed it though. I kept wanting to continue and finished it quite fast! Adam’s gift was fun to learn about and I was a bit sad when him and Juliette had to break up because he could no longer safely touch her BUT I also didn’t think they belonged together so I was also happy lol.
I’m really starting to like Warner. Kenji is my fave easily. Anderson sucks. Castle has me suspicious. And the “girl” are another fave.
It was nice to see Juliette finally growing friendships too!
