1st half was a snooze but once my hubby entered the picture this book instantly got better #iloveaaronwarner OH and juliette pissed my off the majority of the book
As good as the world-building was I have to say that it was a whole lotta yapping that could have been shortened down and Juliette is such a pick me sometimes it drives me insane.

Honestly I liked this book but the author relies soooo much on Warner to make the story flow. The book was kind of boring without him and when he arrived everything got so much better. I’m no writer but from what I’ve learnt as a reader is that you should never rely on one character to make the story move forward. I feel like Kenji was a GREAT addition to the list of characters. I used to like Adam but now I just find no point in him. He just cares about his future with Juliette even though there are much more important struggles here. I enjoyed it but the 3rd book im hoping will be better.
