So let me get this straight, Juliette hates her life. Thinks she's a monster and evil. Tells herself she isn't worthy of anything good in her life, yet, when she gets shot and is dying, all of a sudden she wants to live?!
reread: Forgot how good this book is!! severely underrated, and the quotes are so poetic

bahaha i spent this whole book hoping juliette would just choke. that bitch never shuts up. everything she says sounds like me when i was 12 and depressed and spent all my time on tumblr. except juliette is 17 and also has 2 hot men pining over her so like, idk what she’s crying about?
and you know what? i don’t give a fuck if aaron is 5’9!! i’ve gotten past it!! he can have me!!

I definitely liked this book more than Shatter Me, probably because i listened to the audiobook this time around instead of reading the physical book. This was definitely the better way to go, the narrator was so good and her voice worked so well with the story! The story itself got bigger as well than the contained events of Shatter Me. Kenji is definitely my favorite character, he brings a lot of much needed humor to the book. Juliet is still kinda annoying with her OVERLY long descriptions of simple actions (like PAGES of her and Warner kissing). But she definitely grew a lot in this book! Like i said, it was better than Shatter Me and the audiobook really brought it to life, excited to start the third book!
