Ash's story is brought to life with care. The way the book is layed out helps to emphasize his emotional and mental state. The fact the Alexis Hall can bring such joy and comedic moments into such a dark storyline really brighten up the piece and keep you turning the next page. I absolutely loved all the characters. Alexis writes people with faults who make bad decisions but those decisions don't define them they just breathe life into them.
Moderate: Mental illness, Self harm, and Biphobia
Minor: Homophobia
