This was a re-read of one of my teenage year graphic novels. Love the elven history and the wolfriders. Not too much longer and I'll introduce Elfquest to my son.

My boyfriend's daughter discovered these on the shelf and wanted to read them, so now we're going through the set as a family (so he can sensor them for her as well). The first volume was fun and enjoyable.

A re-read. I've read this so many times and over so many years. This is the second copy of this graphic novel that we have owned and pages are falling out of it. So familiar. At this point there is no way to judge it strictly on its merits.
I figure if I was going to loan the first volume of Elfquest out, I might as well re-read it first. The basic story is not all that complicated. But the art, the writing, the characters, the character names. The lines. All way more beautiful than it needed to be.

Not my first time reading this. It's one of my favorite comics of all time. Beautiful art, wonderful story, interesting characters, it has it all.

I want to thank my dear friend Liva a thousand times for telling me about these comics! All she had to do was show me a picture and say three words ("it is amazing!") and I knew I had to read them. And I must agree with her, they really are amazing. The charaters are loveable and the drawings re beautiful and alluring. I need to read more! Soon!!
