Not a thriller until the very end, but still a fun read. It was interesting trying to piece the storyline across different POV's and timepoints.
I really liked the characterization and as an anxiety queen myself, I love a main character who struggles with it as well. A fun, tense, little read. But it definitely wasn't as scary as I was hoping for. I'd recommend this for folks looking to get into horror or thrillers to test the waters and see if this is something they enjoy.

I got sucked in by the cover and the promise of 90’s nostalgia. The idea of it all being set during one night also sparked my attention. It’s none of those things.
There wasn’t a 90’s feel beyond them mentioning a few movies from the decade. We also get lots of flashbacks basically making the one night setting pointless.
I can’t even begin to convey how nothing happened in this book. Truly a snooze fest!
