Such a good whodunnit. I thought it was everyone at some point. But the ending! I even enjoyed the show - surprised they gave a different ending but happy there was some closure compared to the book.
My best friend is dying to watch this together so I had to move it to the top of my list. Overall I enjoyed this book and it was well written. It didn’t blow me away or leave me speechless but it was intriguing and I found myself relating to Orla at times so that kept me entertained in itself. Definitely give it a try!

So this book starts off telling you about Kate and Orla who have been friends for over 20
Years. Orla is married to Rob - they just had a baby within the last year and are struggling like normal couples do after being together for some time. Nothing abnormal to me.
Kate on the other hand is very rich , going thru a nasty divorce , sleeps around and still has fun like she is 21. She has Birkin bag and a wardrobe any girl would kill over. They’re lives are polar opposites.
They’re headed to Lisbon for a weekend away together. ⛲️

i’m indifferent about this book, i liked it but also was annoyed with how it ended

Lots of twists and turns, the last few chapters were shocking. I couldn't put it down until I was done. It was definitely a quick read and would be great for a vacation/beach read.
Immediately watched the Netflix film, which was decent but definitely differences. As always, the book is better.

This book’s storyline was so strong!! The ending had a huge twist and it was pieced together so well. Unfortunately the movie was trash compared to the book, but I really enjoyed this read and had a hard time putting it down!

Orla and Kate go on a girly weekend trip to Lisbon with Orla leaving her husband and baby at home. Whilst away the go out for a meal and then onto a club., where they meet 2 men who Kate asks back to their apartment. When Orla wakes up the next morning to find that she can’t remember much about the night before and Kate missing she is terrified. She attempts to find out what happened to Kate and contacts the police. Orla starts finding out some things about Kate that she doesn’t want to believe. The police then find a body in the river, will they find out what happened to Kate or will Orla be charged with her murder.
A great book of twists and turns, thought I figured out what happened and then sometime else would come me to light . Keep me hooked from page 1.
