Loved this book just as much as the rest of the series - If there's anyone out there that has seen the HBO series and hasn't read the books, I highly recommend them (and vice versa actually - watching the tv series only enhanced my enjoyment of this new book in the series).
The newest installment of The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency series, and it has all of heart and soul that the series is known for.
I love this series. Nice, refreshing, easy read. Not too much fluff but always satisfying and makes me want to visit Botswana!!!

I have just finished listening to the Isis Audio Book read by Adjoa Andoh. The audio book was most enjoyable as are all the stories in the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series and was made especially enjoyable by the animated and interesting manner in which it was read by Adjoa Andoh.
Heartwarming as always. I do wonder if flying ants taste like peanut butter tho.
This is the second of McCall Smith's books I've read and they are enjoyable if not wonderful. He has a masterful gift for describing ordinary interactions between people in beautiful ways. In a way that makes you like them more and understand them more. But the plot was a little thin and I didn't really feel much reason to keep at it other than the lovely narration of the audio book.
Has there ever been a series remotely like this? That's all I can say! Joy!
