When I finished war storm I was angry at the ending. I hated it. But reading this cleared everything up so well. I got what I wanted in the end. More Evangeline and Elane content (even if it’s angst), and Evangeline’s own “happy” end. Cal and Mare content?? AND THE NAMED THEIR KIDS AFTER CORI AND SHADE?? I screamed and I cried and screamed some more. This book finished the series amazingly and I loved getting to know new characters and old characters better.

I like this book. It showcases the lives and thoughts of several other characters that were somehow neglected in the other novels of this series. It basically is a collection of some history,  future events and some novellas.

In the earlier part of the book several events are showcased that took place alot years after the war storm. Which is interesting to read but I find it boring at times.
A lot about calore family history is told which I found interestesing to read

Queen song is a novella that I've already read and I loved that novel it showcases a different side of Norta and Cal's parents.

Steel scars showcase the life of Diana Farley, although I haven't read its novella but standalone but the chapters showcasing her earlier life is somewhat interesting to read.

World behind showcases a very beautiful love story between Ashe and Lyrisa. It's like the last novel of this series gave us another beautiful love story with not an ending.

Iron heart is another favorite of mine as it shows the lives of Evangeline and Elane after the war.
Fire light as the name says Cal is the fire and Mare is the light. It reunites cal and Mare once again leaving both to decide their destiny from now on.

Farewell gives a last goodbye to the not so bad villain of the story Maven a bittersweet farewell Maven gave to Cal and at the end it winds up the story with after events in words of one of the most mysteries characters of the book

This was a good wrap up to an amazing series! Definitely worth reading the last three novels
