Lily Gold writes her characters sort of all the same. A woman sorting her shit out, a fun, flighty man, a quiet, calm man, and a brooding tough guy with a cinnamon bun heart. That said, even though I’ve now essentially read the same book 4 times, I liked all of them. Fluff/dark/smut. Probably good for getting out of a reading slump.

I’m officially in love with Lily Gold’s books!
They just have everything you’d ever want. The deep relationship, emotional connections, love and trust. But also there’s angst, drama, traumatic pasts and heart-wrecking events happening.
Her books are capturing from beginning to end and I can’t manage to put it down.
I really like the writing style and structure of her books as well.

All of this seamlessly applies to “Three Swedish Mountain Men”. 
Again I loved all four of the characters and how their relationship built. 
Each of the men (Eli, Riven& Cole) have their own unique character and we get to know them individually as Daisy spends time with them one-on-one as well as together.
Through an accident they get to know each other and without really knowing a lot about the other one they set up a deep emotional connection.
Daisy’s past presents an unexpected shock to the guys and everything’s starting to go down.
I love the way Lily Gold always deals with these kinds of situations.
In other books I often feel like problems are solved too easily or the characters are way too understanding/ forgiving to be realistic. 
Lily Gold manages to find the perfect way through every situation like this. Meanwhile she makes the characters and their feelings tangible to the reader.

In my opinion this book actually could’ve been longer as there are more possibilities to further tell the story and Daisy and her three Swedish Mountain Men.

I’m excited and sad at the same time because I loved this book so much but also I have only one book of hers left I didn’t read (which is Triple Duty Bodyguards). Still, I am excitedly looking forward to reading that one and to Lily Gold publishing more books I’m sure I’m going to love!

I enjoyed this one. It’s a lot shorter than her others, but still great. There’s an extended epilogue you can read through her website. On to the next one!
