I liked the concept of the story, but the more I read, the less I was enjoying the book. The characters became less dimensional, the words started repeating frequently, and the plot became predictable.
I hope it's a while before I hear the word "perish" again.

The Pulaski, known as The Southern Titanic, is a true story and Patti Callahan does an amazing job at telling the story by blending researched facts with a fictional story inspired by the history. This book is very captivating and if you love historical fiction, you’re sure to love Surviving Savannah.

Would have rated it higher, but the main character is soooo badly written.
