This was a cute and fluffy time! It felt like Jaeda and Quaid were equally yoked. This one was more on a low stakes purely romance with the focus being the two characters and how they can navigate being together with a complicated family dynamic

I thought Quaid being the shy nerdy but still having the BDE and the courage to like be "hood" and use his hands was an interesting dynamic. As a character he was a different MMC and not necessarily the unhinged man you find in urban romances but he held his own and his smartness was a turn on!

Jaeda was just great! She had spunk and attitude and I LOVED how she took charge of her own story! Also the fact that * spoiler alert* she did some of the kidnapping wasa fun twist! She found someone who matched her and the way that progressed was cute to read!

I would recommend!

Jaeda and Quaid are soooo cute!!! 🥹🥹🥹🤎🤎🤎
I love how protective her brothers are of her, how she met her match with Quaid, how she's finally seen and treated well..... The Dillinger family connection is something so special and Kimberly Brown knows how to create that perfect family dynamic.

4⭐️ This was such a fun and sweet read! In this book, Jaeda is navigating dating with an overbearing family over her shoulder. Let me just say, Quaid is the perfect MMC. Their chemistry is effortless, and it’s clear from the beginning that these two are true soulmates! I loved watching their bond unfold especially after such a crazy first meeting 👀 (iykyk)

The overbearing family trope did get a little frustrating at times (Jaeda is 26 after all), but it didn’t take too much away from the story. Unlike the other books in this series, this one didn’t have any wild twists or heavy drama. This was just a romance between two computer geniuses figuring life out together, navigating differing family lifestyles and the dangerous world the Dillinger’s are involved in.

Cannot wait for Steel’s book next …and also Mia’s book cause I need to see her and Titan get it together 😭

If Kimberly Brown is writing a book heavily focused on love?? I’m reading it. This was a 5 star/beautiful read for me. This book is a love story done correctly.
