I loved this book right from the start. The characters felt real to me. Lila who has decided to start moving on with her life after being widowed. Colton, the younger man In love with her and Jonah who has lost his mother. We see their struggles. The highlight for me was Lila's obviously long overdue confrontation with her mother-in-law.

This was an unexpected surprise. I had only gotten the book because it is free and simply decided to give it a chance.
I do not regret it at all!
I liked the setting of older woman/younger man and the way it was written.
The healing stages were slow, one step at a time and it felt really natural!
