At this point, I'm only here for Nikolai, and so I can get to Six of Crows without guilt.
Mal kinda pissed me off in this book, and they have zero chemistry, it feels so forced 😭😭😭 Alina and Nikolai would make a much better couple tbh

The second book in the trilogy continues Alina's story and shows her development as a character. However, I found it quite dull at times, and emotionally she acted more like a teenager, which made it hard to fully connect with her.

This book definitely leveled up this trilogy for me. I loved the new characters that came about. The darkling and Nikolai were definitely “giving” in the best ways. Strumhond made the book for me! I enjoyed seeing the direction the story was headed and was on the edge of my seat to find out what would happen in the final installment of the series. Lots of witty banter. I definitely laughed out loud a few times.

Well, at first I was quite bored reading some parts of the book and I was thinking that it would be like that throughout the whole book but then the last 40-50 pages happened and I was like wtf???? I still can't comprehend what what's going on but I liked it too much. I was in tension the whole time and even tho he is not my favourite by any means, I have to admit the darkling is one of the best villains I've encountered in books. Let's see what happens on the last book!

It was alright. I like sturmhond and it was only interesting when something big was happening.
