took me way too long to finish this and come up with what to say about it.

both of these stars are for nikolais entrance, (he’s my husband) and the half star is for alinas existence. they deserve a better story than this. this book could’ve been half as long as it was and it still would’ve ended the same way

oo nikolai my beloved!! was so happy that he finally showed up >:)
enjoyed this one in general, even though it was quite slow, but i especially liked that it got me so much more invested in mal's and alina's lovestory than the netflix series!! now I'm really rooting for them.
the ending felt a bit rushed though and i sometimes cringed at the "russian-vibes" world building. why is there a character literally named "hello" 💀
