Not my absolute favourite Pratchett (the witches and Death are my favourite characters), but a good one. Pratchett, in his prime, is a master at writing a preposterous, funny story that pokes fun mercilessly at our own society. Priceless.

Gets better evey time I read it. I think this is where the series Discworld became organized, after teh much more free wheeling nature of the first stories. It's one of my all time favourites, and I'm pleased to report that my partner loved it!
Incredible! I am obsessed with Carrot and Vimes and the whole crew.

Mostly excellent and hilarious, as always with Terry Pratchett. I wasn't a huge fan of how he wrote the character of Angua, she lacked the depth of many of the POV characters and its hard not to suspect it's because she's a woman.

I thought this was quite a bit more fun than Guards! Guards! The new characters were so fun 😊 I can't wait to read more!
