There was an "All Your Base are Belong to Us" joke!!
Some of the stuff about defending the young generation felt a little heavy-handed in the script towards the end, but overall I enjoyed this volume. Kamala Khan is awesome.

I really like this one. The stories as well as the art, even the art from the other comics that has been attached here.
Kamala is so awesome. The way she tries to be a teenage girl, a super hero and just her? Wonderful. I like that she doubts herself but also motivates herself and just won't give up.
The stories have been interesting, funny and, partly, heartbreaking and heartwarming. But the ending? *meep*
The meeting with Captain Marvel? Awesome. I really want to read the Captain Marvel comics now too.
And, I'm probably going to check out the Silk comics too.

Not quite as fresh as the first volume, but still with plenty to love. Unabashedly nice and family-oriented, Kamala Khan is a believable fangirl superhero. The extent of her powers is less important in these stories than the size of her heart. Gorgeous stuff.
