The audio is absolute perfection. The narrators crushed it. I have no notes on their performances. The book itself was good, if not a hit predictable. It follows the general RH/why choose romantasy plotline that I feel I’ve read before. That said, it was fun and fast and had some elements that spiced up the story. It was a solid first book in the series! I am pretty ambivalent about Sunday at the moment, but I do see her potential and am excited to see how she grows and evolves over the rest of the series. The guys’ POVs were where it was at for me (shocker)! I loved getting little glimpses into the four broody brains of Noah, Kingston, Alek, and Caleb. The cliffy at the end definitely had me rereading a few paragraphs! Ultimately that cliffy is what convinced me to continue the series.
