If the rest of the book was written like the last 100 pages, I would've liked it more. Those pages bumped up my rating to a 3. Before that it was basically 2.5. Hayden was just too much of a dictator. He didn't listen to a damn thing and would then have a moment where he would tell Callie he would do anything she asked...except listen to her apparently. Very frustrating and not the best.

It was a really good book, it bright me out of my physical book reading slump so it holds a great place In my heart. I do think that the FMC, was a bit to forgiving in my eyes.

I personally think the first one was better because of its fast pace. but honestly I loved how indepth this book got into each characters emotions and truama!
