okay at least this one had some actual plot but it just was still so bland. i didn’t feel any real fire between the characters, besides her and her bodyguard
it was worse, and it got worsar... his possessiveness and adoration for her really had potential but all the plot holes and secrets that never got discussed ever really disappointed me

I read it because I wanted to finish the duology but why the second book was so unnecessary.
It does pick up right at the cliffhanger. That all I have to say about that.
