The audiobook adds to the experience of reading this book as Jenny narrates it herself.  As someone who also suffers anxiety and depression,  and chronic health issues,  I found her book very relatable.   I laughed till I cried several times

Jenny Lawson's writing has very similar energy to Mindy Kaling's, in the way that they're kooky and kind of unconcerned with social issues. There was a time that this would have been more appealing to me. I also don't love the "I'm too kooky for my husband and I just make him pinch the bridge of his nose all the time waah-waah." Maybe it's not just my thing anymore to find fun in constantly miscommunicating with your partner. Also does she drink kind of heavily?

If you’ve ever wondered what a friend or loved one might be experiencing when they go through bouts of depression and/or anxiety, look no further than this book. Lawson describes what it feels like to live with both of these conditions in such a funny and relatable way. The audiobook is perfection.
