If you’ve ever wondered what a friend or loved one might be experiencing when they go through bouts of depression and/or anxiety, look no further than this book. Lawson describes what it feels like to live with both of these conditions in such a funny and relatable way. The audiobook is perfection.

This book moves from humor to silliness to thoughtful discussions of the pains of mental illness with ease. I laughed out loud at some of her descriptions but also had tears when she shared her thoughts on mental illness. This is an excellent book for someone struggling with depression and anxiety and for anyone that cares for someone with a mental illness. Be sure to check out the content warnings if you aren't comfortable with some types of adult humor.
