I flew through so much of Elle Kennedy’s popular series. All of them, in fact. And wanted to try more of her.

First stop: hockey romance + mm main characters. Yes please!

Sarina and Elle make a great duo in the writing. I’ve not read other Sarina books, but I could spot the influence of Elle throughout the book. The characters were lovable and you’re cheering for both of the male leads and their HEA from the go. I appreciated that this was two manly, beefy hockey men. (Am I swearing!?) No stereotyping up in here. Just love being love.

Long story short: Elle continues to be an author I seek out. No skips.

After having this whole series on my bookshelf for 7 years, I FINALLY read it. This is going to be a bit shorter than what I have to say for ‘Us,’ but that doesn’t mean I love the story of Wes and Jamie any less in ‘Him.’

I love these two with all my heart. This book and the two of them had me wishing I was (1) at all capable of skating/playing hockey and (2) spending my summer in Lake Placid. I love Wes and Jamie, and they really live up to the long-lost-but-it’s-all-my-fault-but-maybe-it’s-not-after-all friends to lovers story that I read. They just mesh so well together, and they seem to fall so easily back into place with one another. And nothing makes me happier than baring witness to a found family in the one you love most.

God, Wes and Jamie are everything to me.
