you know those romantic comedies you certainly cannot call a cinematography masterpiece or oscar worthy yet they never fail to warm your heart. it is kind of how this book feels like.
sure there is A LOT of porny bits in it. i was getting almost annoyed by so much sex (not even 16 year olds are that horny) but it was a fun read over all.
read it in a day!

ORA POSSIBILMENTE GRAZIE.
Why did it take me so long to finally start this book. I absolutely loved it and couldn't put it down. It was different than I expected as I was expecting Wes to be the asshole/badboy type but he was soft and fluffy and I absolutely loved it. I loved Jamie and how open he was with everything. I loved seeing the boys grow closer and it made me happy to see how supportive Jamies family was. My heart hurt for Wes and I loved seeing him grow closer to Jamie and have more people to lean on. Loved the spice and how it was quite low on angst. Loved the humour and banter between them both, they warmed my heart!
4.5 stars
NA (I'm calling it that because the two main characters are in their early 20s) isn't my normal cuppa, but I've heard many good things about this story - and the narration - that I thought I'd give it a go and picked it up in an Audible sale recently.
It's a superbly done friends-to-lovers / sexual awakening story featuring two likeable protagonists; cocky, loudmouthed Wes is out, long-time friend Jamie has no idea he's not completely straight. Sweet, funny and hot, it's very well narrated and was definitely worth a listen.

Obviously gays written by straight women
Spicy MM romance with an interesting story outside of the smut.
Him tells the story of Jamie & Wes, two ice hockey players reunited after a spicy summer.
I was actually surprised by this book. I had an emotional attachment to the characters where I found myself not caring just for the spicy parts. Saying this the spicy parts were extremely spicy and enjoyable. It’s very weird speaking about this in a review

Well…. I picked up this book because I like Elle Kennedy. I did not anticipate this to be my first MM romance and I don’t know how I feel about it.
Wes and Jamie were best friends growing up. They challenged each other on the ice and sent each other dorky presents.
Sadly, four years ago Wes walked away from Jamie from without any explanation. This left Jamie confused and lost, wanting more out of the string of relationships he has with girls.
And now, Wes and Jamie meet up at their old Camp where Jamie is coaching. Could this be the chance their friendship needed to be amended or is there something more they both want from each other?
I have to admit I was really skeptical when starting this book. The fact that it has a dual POV from the guys had me worried that I would easily get confused and not keep up. And to some extent, I had to keep reminding myself in the beginning about which character was in the closet and who was openly gay but then again I was reading this late in the night so...
Am glad I gave this book a chance, it has a wonderful story, characters and I am definitely sure to read the next one :)
