Jana DeLeaon delivered once again. Once the Mystery comes out, which is very quick in the beginning.  I try to figure out who the bad person is. I have been shocked every time once revealed. Fun, adventures  and keeps you on your toes.

Funny, but more of the same

I like these books, but I just flip through the antics at this point. Plans fall apart, silly plans to awry, Carter is told some ridiculous lie.....over and over again. I love the characters, but the storylines need something fresh.

Celia's mayor, her cousin is the new sheriff in town and Carter is still sidelined with his injury from the previous book. What could go wrong? One thing, Walter gets hit on the head with a flying human leg. :D Swamp Team 3 are on it, with a "Little" help.
This one took me longer than usual to finish, the story seemed to drag for me or maybe I'm getting tired of the same old antics. I do love the slow burn between Fortune and Carter, but wish it would go a little faster. There are over 20 books in the series by now? I hope to get through them all.
