I’m usually not a pregnancy trope lover, but sheesh, Cara Bastone put some magic in this book. She writes relationships and their complications so well and realistically. I devoured this book in one sitting and can’t wait to read more of her books!

I love this book.

It is filled with soft mundane metaphors and unbridled happiness and aching grief. The background of the cover illustration perfectly captures what’s in my heart right now. I teared up reading the ending and was incredibly in awe of the complex relationships within. I want this. I want the love that is described in so many forms.

Second read: GOD. This book is love. Is it heart. And I will never be able to describe how much it means to me. It lives in my heart and is so dear to me- I can’t get over it
