This book is beautiful! Duotone images galore! No wonder it won a design award at the book show. That said, I found the narrative tricky to follow (and not necessarily illuminating) considering the different mocked up documents. 3 stars for content and 5 for presentation, comin' in at 4 overall.

I love the show so I appreciate the deeper dive into some characters and the history of Twin Peaks even though I think a positive aspect of the show is the compelling unknown/unanswered. I also think that Mark Frost is far too often overlooked when discussing Twin Peaks since David Lynch garners most of the attention. Frost is a genius in his own right and the writing and producing he does in the series and on these additional expansions (books/audio/etc) is astounding.

I was lost in some parts but overall I had a good time. It was cool to learn things about the characters I didn’t know, especially the back story of the log lady. Loved that part the most.
