The first quarter of the book was difficult to get through, but it is an excellent companion piece to Twin Peaks once you power through.

I love twin peaks. Would probably have gotten more out of this if I had rewatched the show more recently. Still extremely interesting and chilling almost. It gets hard to separate fact from fiction. The audiobook was awesome.

I'm kind of conflicted about this book - I recently watched the entirety of the original Twin Peaks TV-series and Fire Walk With Me, and fell in love with it. What I personally loved most about the show were the characters, their relationships and the mystical aspects of Lynch's trademark abstract filmmaking.
This book is for the large sum of it around 350 pages is about old American history and alien sightings - not exactly what I myself came for when it comes to Twin Peaks.
The parts about the characters we already knew were really charming and exciting though - getting a better look into some of the less celebrated characters is very appreciated.
And I will say, the last 50 pages really worked for me, so that's why I'll give it 3.5/5 - but the first 150 pages or so were simply too much of a slog to me to rate it higher, sorry

twin peaks and its characters changed my life forever, in a way that I would have never guessed before putting on the pilot episode in may. i have no words, only tears on my face after reading this and thinking about Major Briggs. what a man he was !!!
