This is a hard book to classify because in many ways nothing happens but this is definitely a book to make you think. I loved the style and language of it and as a teacher it had a real impact on me. Mina’s view of education really had me questioning my myself and my ideology as to what schools should be. It has been a very long time since I read Skelkig so I am now looking forward to re-Reading and seeing how this follows on.

This book is absolutely amazing! To me it expresses everything a child would feel and think and wonder. It made me feel free as I read it. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.
